To the 80th anniversary of the birth and the 60th anniversary of Oleg Vinogradov’s creative activity.

 

“Fund for the preservation and development of classical ballet named after Oleg Vinogradov” with the support of the Committee for culture of St. Petersburg, within the project “Vivat, Ballet!”dedicates the evening to the reflection of the bright, multi-faceted creative path of Oleg Vinogradov — People’s artist of the USSR, the Script, academician, Laureate of the State prize of Russia and eight international awards, including: two awards of the Paris Academy of dance, the Order “Chevalier of France” for achievements in literature and art, award Laurence Olivier prize, the “Lumiere” (prize of the French cinematographers) award Picasso, Dance award Leonid myasina (the Positano Prize), the UNESCO prize in 2017.

The gala concert is held with the support of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg, as well as with the assistance of the International Dance Council (CID) at UNESCO in St. Petersburg and with the participation of enterprise “stars of the 21st century”. Canada

Priorities, criteria, style and principles of the activity of Vinogradov as a leader, choreographer, artist, scenographer and teacher are determined not only by the presence of higher vocational education, but also by the practice of staged work in many Countries of the World (France, England, Italy, Hungary, Japan, South Korea, Poland, USA and many others).

Of particular note is his merit in overcoming the confrontation between Soviet and Western art in the era of the Iron Curtain. It was thanks to Vinogradov that it became possible to invite leading choreographers and dancers of international importance to work in Russia, including masterpieces of such masters as: A. Bournonville, p. Lakott, R.  PTI, A. Valleys as well. Tudor, D. Balanchine, M. Béjart, J. Robbins, uh. Fodor.

Results of creative activity O. M. Vinogradova for sixty years (including in the field of preservation and development of traditions of Russian classical ballet, influenced and foreign art) will be demonstrated by pupils, colleagues, artists and choreographers from theatres of Russia and abroad.

The program includes both traditional repertoire and modern compositions based on the classical ballet school, as well as fragments from the ballets of the Jubiljara.

The show was attended by the stars of the world’s leading theatres: Julia Stepanova, Denis Rodkin, Olga Smirnova and Semen Chudin, Maria Alexandrov and Vladislav Lantratov (Bolshoi Theatre); Yulia Mahalina, Farouk Ruzimatov, Anton Korsakov, Igor Kolb and Alisa Petrenko, Christina Shapran and Timur Askerov, Alexandra Iosifidi, Nadezhda Batoeva and Ernest Latypov (Mariinsky Theatre); Anastasia Matvienko and Denis Matvienko (Novaa, Novosibirsk); Lucia Lakarra (Spain) and Marlon Dino (Germany), Adrian Blake Mitchell (USA), Oscar Hawkins (USA), Hjejmin Hwang and Cajong om (South Korea), as well as students arb them. A. I.  Vaganova and the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington and others.
